Professional Boxer, Esquiva Falcão has Partnered with KTO

KTO has just announced a brand new partnership with the Brazillian Olympic medalist, Esquiva Falcão. Unbeaten in professional fights, the athlete also demonstrates the same determination in his personal life. Recently the boxer made the headlines for delivering pizzas made by his wife, Suelen Marques. With the fights stalled because of the pandemic, he went after alternative solutions to make money.

“Esquiva won silver at the London 2012 Olympic Games, and he is still famous for never having lost a fight during his professional career: he holds 28 victories, 20 of which by knockout, and he continues to do what is necessary to win even outside the ring. This drive caught the attention of KTO, which seeks to support teams and athletes who have a determined mindset”, says Cássio Filter, KTO’s Brazil Country Manager.

The count of his 28 victories began in 2014, the year he entered the ring as a professional boxer. Some of his international opponents include Manny Woods and Malcom Terry Jr. from the United States, Jonathan Tavira from Mexico, and Salim Larbi from France.

“Now I can be more focused on training. I don’t have to worry about debt or what could happen to my family, that makes all the difference. To be a world champion, you need to be 100% dedicated to training, and you can’t concentrate when you don’t know if you’re going to be able to pay your bills on time. I am very grateful for the fan-supported campaign and for the support of KTO ”, declares the fighter.

Esquiva is also the son of ex-boxer Adegard Câmara Florentino the “Touro Moreno” (the Brown Bull), and is also the younger brother of Boxer, Yamaguchi Falcão. Encouraged by family members, he started training at the age of 13 and participated in important national events including the Brazilian Championship 2007, South American Games 2010 and the 2011 AIBA World Boxing Championships, all of which he placed in the top three.

Sponsorships

The partnership with Esquiva adds to other recent sponsorships confirmed by KTO, which also sponsors the Brazilian football teams Cascavel and Santa Cruz, the male Basketball team KTO / Caxias and the female Basketball team KTO / Blumenau.
